Hjulmand steps down as Denmark coach after Euro24

Following Denmark's fruitless run in Euro 2024, Kasper Hjulmand resigned as manager of the national team, the Danish Football Association (DBU) announced on Friday.



At the 2022 World Cup and the European Championship, the Danes played seven straight games without winning and with just three goals scored.

Denmark's chances at big competitions were blunted by their lack of attacking prowess, as they were eliminated from the European Championship following a 2-0 defeat by hosts Germany in the round of 16.
