Napoli appoint Conte as new manager

Antonio Conte, a former manager of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, has been named Napoli's new manager on a three-year contract.

After serving as manager for 16 months, the 54-year-old left Spurs in March 2023 by mutual consent. Since then, he has not managed.

Conte has had a distinguished coaching career despite a disastrous spell in north London. He won the FA Cup in his second season at Chelsea (2016–17) and the Premier League in his first before being fired in 2018.
