Albany FireWolves faced a heartbreaking defeat against the San Diego Seals, losing 11-10 in their National Lacrosse League regular-season finale at Pechanga Arena. Despite an early four-goal lead, the FireWolves could not secure a playoff spot, ending their season on a narrow scoreline.

In collegiate lacrosse, Loyola`s men’s team triumphed over Navy with a 16-11 victory at Ridley Athletic Complex. A strong fourth-quarter performance, highlighted by Matthew Minicus`s crucial goals, propelled Loyola to a comeback after trailing early in the game. Navy`s Graham Parker and Carter Ash contributed goals, but the team could not maintain their lead, resulting in a disappointing outcome. Loyola improved to 3-10 overall and 3-4 in the league, while Navy fell to 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the league.

Virginia hosted Lafayette for Senior Day at Klöckner Stadium, honoring 16 senior student-athletes before the game. The event emphasized the UVA Gordie Center’s mission against hazing and substance misuse, with players and staff wearing symbolic t-shirts.
