Maryland Lacrosse Faces Rutgers in Big Ten Showdown

Maryland Lacrosse prepares for a Big Ten clash against Rutgers, highlighting key players and recent performances across the league.

No. 2 Maryland men`s lacrosse is gearing up for a crucial Big Ten road matchup against Rutgers on April 5 at SHI Stadium. With an impressive record of 8-1 overall and 1-1 in the Big Ten, Maryland has demonstrated defensive prowess, limiting all but one opponent to 10 goals or fewer this season. Their only setback came in a thrilling triple-overtime loss to Michigan.

Rutgers, currently sitting at 5-6 overall and also 1-1 in the Big Ten, will look to Colin Kurdyla, who leads the team with 16 goals and nine assists, to spark their offense. This matchup is pivotal for both teams as they aim to improve their standings in the conference.
