Charlotte North excels in the Women’s Lacrosse League, while ACC and Army teams kick off their seasons.
Charlotte North of the Boston Guard has been named to the Women’s Lacrosse League 2025 All-Tournament Team following her stellar performance in the inaugural Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League championship. North led her team to victory, amassing 19 points (15 goals, 4 assists) over four games, while finishing third in the Golden Stick Award rankings. Despite facing double teams, she showcased her playmaking ability with 153 touches, the highest among field players, and led the league in shots (43) and shots on goal (36).
In the ACC Women’s Lacrosse League, the season kicked off on February 22 with six games, including a highly anticipated matchup between No. 2 North Carolina and No. 4 Syracuse. Other notable games featured No. 14 Stanford against No. 7 Virginia, No. 21 Duke at No. 1 Boston College, and No. 19 Clemson visiting No. 11 Notre Dame.
The Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Standings remain unchanged as teams have yet to play, while the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Women’s Lacrosse Standings also reflect early-season inactivity. Meanwhile, the No. 23 Army West Point women’s lacrosse team secured a decisive 16-6 victory over Marist, with junior midfielder Brigid Duffy setting a new program record for career points.
