Charlotte North`s exceptional play leads the Boston Guard to victory, while UMass Lowell dominates in the America East Conference.

Charlotte North of the Boston Guard has been named to the Women’s Lacrosse League 2025 All-Tournament Team following her stellar performance that led the Guard to the inaugural Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League championship. North recorded an impressive 19 points (15 goals, 4 assists) over four games, finishing third in the Golden Stick Award rankings. Despite facing double teams, she excelled in facilitating the offense, leading the league with 43 shots and 36 shots on goal. Her signature jump shot and sidearm rocket shot were pivotal in her scoring success.

In the America East Conference, UMass Lowell currently leads with a perfect 3-0 record, while Vermont follows closely with a 2-0 record. The standings also feature UMBC at 1-0, Bryant at 2-1, and New Hampshire at 1-1. UAlbany is still seeking their first win at 0-3.

On the men’s side, Hillis Burns of the Washington and Lee Generals earned a spot on the USILA Team of the Week after a standout performance in their season opener against York (Pa.), where he contributed seven points. Meanwhile, Army secured a decisive 10-3 victory over Yale, showcasing strong performances from players like Grant Masterson and Jackson Eicher.

In the Big South Conference, Furman leads with a 1-0 record, while several teams are still looking to establish their footing in the early season.
