Oliver Townend has taken the lead at the MARS Badminton Horse Trials with his horse, Cooley Rosalent, after an impressive cross-country phase. His performance sets the stage for a thrilling show jumping finale, with Canter closely trailing behind. Austin O’Connor also made waves during the cross-country day, showcasing a strong performance on Colorado Blue and climbing the leaderboard.

In show jumping, the excitement continued as Marc Dilasser and Giulio du Ter clinched victory in the CSI4 1.50m event held in Bourg-en-Bresse on Saturday. The previous day saw Benoit Cernin and Dynamite du Miral take the win, highlighting the competitive spirit of the event.

The FEI World Cup Finals 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, introduced a pilot project focused on Equine Quality Control, aiming to enhance standards in the sport. Additionally, Egypt`s equestrian team secured a silver medal in the teams` competition at the 25th CISM World Military Equestrian Championship, marking a significant achievement on the international stage.
