In the prestigious Worshipful Company of Loriners Cup Competition, the Royal Navy secured a commendable third place, narrowly missing the top spot as the RAF clinched victory by less than three percent. A highlight of the event was Chief Petty Officer Amy Taylor, who triumphed in the London International Horse Show Qualifier aboard her horse True Cavalier, earning her a coveted spot in the upcoming military showjumping final at the LIHS.
The Royal Navy Equestrian Team demonstrated a strong mix of seasoned riders and emerging talent, with senior members providing invaluable experience and leadership, while newcomers infused the team with fresh energy and enthusiasm. The team earned several rosettes, showcasing their competitive spirit and skill. Looking ahead, the Royal Navy Equestrian Team is eager to build on this success at the Army`s Royal Tournament.
The team included Lt Cdr Sarah Taborda, Lt Cdr Jill Monnox, Lt Cdr Michelle Thompson, Surg Lt India John, and others, supported by Capt Mark Alder and Cdr Jo Bollen. For more updates on the Royal Navy Equestrian, visit Royal Navy Equestrian and for equestrian news, check Equestrian News.
