Becky Moody Shines at CDI5 Grand Prix in Fontainebleau

Becky Moody wins CDI5 Grand Prix in Fontainebleau, while Julien Anquetin excels in showjumping and France leads in eventing.

Becky Moody from Great Britain showcased her exceptional talent at the CDI5 Grand Prix Devoucoux in Fontainebleau, securing victory aboard Jagerbomb with an impressive score of 76.870%. Her debut performance at this prestigious venue was marked by technical precision and artistic flair, earning her high praise from the judges.

In the showjumping arena, French rider Julien Anquetin triumphed in the CSI5 1.55m Masters Prix FFE riding Fulldollar de Raygade. While specific scores were not disclosed, his performance contributed significantly to the excitement of the event.

Meanwhile, the FEI Eventing European Championships for Juniors and Young Riders saw France`s junior team take the lead with a total of 82.9 penalties. The team comprised Clement Tonon with Eboli, Mae Rinaldi on Kirwan, Mereana Fischer riding Vet`hiver, and Rachel Weiler with Riviero. Individually, Rachel Weiler placed second with a score of 25.1, just behind Germany`s Sofie Schnier, who scored 23.6. In the young rider team competition, France finished third with 85 penalties, while Lisa Gualtieri also secured second place individually with a score of 25.1 on A D`Aunis. The cross-country phases are set to take place on 27 April.
