#Hockey-:The women's ice #Hockey #world #championship, already postponed from 2020 to 2021 due to #covid-19, will not be able to take place as hoped in Canada from May 6 to 16, the International Federation (IIHF) announced on Thursday, which said  consider a further postponement to 2021. The announcement comes following the decision by provincial authorities in Nova Scotia to cancel the competition, the IIHF reports.  The decision to cancel the competition "does not mean that we will not have World Championships in 2021," said IIHF President René Fasel.
