PGA players council seeks smaller fields

The PGA circuit Player Advisory Council on Tuesday proposed many changes that the circuit policy board will vote on next month, including smaller fields and fewer players who are entirely exempt.The council received a lot of input from PGA Tour players, and in a document on Tuesday, it presented a number of proposals for costs that would start for the 2026 campaign if they were accepted at a board meeting on November 18.
