Dog bite causes Korda to miss tournament

Due to a dog bite, world champion Nelly Korda will not be competing in the Aramco Team Series event in Hemel Hempstead next week.

The 25-year-old American golfer was scheduled to defend her title at the Ladies European Tour event held at the Centurion Club.

Korda posted on social media, "I was bitten by a dog on Saturday in Seattle and need time to receive treatment and recover fully."
