Thompson takes one-shot lead

After the first round of the Women's PGA Championship, Lexi Thompson scored 68 to take a one-shot lead.

The American shot one shot better than her countryman Nelly Korda and Thai player Patty Tavatanakit after shooting four under par at the Sahalee Country Club, close to Seattle.

After the first round of 70, Charley Hull of England and Leona Maguire of Ireland were two strokes behind the lead.
