McIlroy files for divorce in week of US PGA

During the week of the US PGA Championship in Kentucky, Rory McIlroy filed for divorce from his wife Erica.

The Northern Irishman filed a "petition for dissolution of marriage" in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Monday, according to court records.

Poppy Kennedy McIlroy, their only child, was born in 2020. They got married in 2017.
