Rakshit Dahiya`s remarkable victory at the IGU Samarvir Sahi Championship highlights the rising talent in Indian golf.

In a stunning display of skill and determination, Rakshit Dahiya emerged victorious at the IGU Samarvir Sahi Golf Championship 2025, held at the picturesque Chandigarh Golf Club from May 6 to May 9. With the final round suspended, the championship was decided based on the first three rounds, where Dahiya showcased his prowess with scores of 73, 68, and a remarkable personal best of 63 in the third round, finishing at an impressive 12-under 204.

Sukhman Singh followed closely, securing second place with a commendable score of 8-under 208, while Deepak Yadav claimed third with 7-under 209. Other notable performances included Anshul Mishra, who finished ninth at 3-under 213, and a group of talented golfers including Suveer Kapoor, Kanav Chouhan, Chandan Kumar Yadav, and Lt. Col. Varoon Parmar, who all tied for twelfth place.

Looking ahead, the DP World Tour 2025 schedule has exciting news for Indian golf enthusiasts, featuring the inaugural DP World India Championship in October at Delhi Golf Club, boasting a lucrative $4 million prize fund. Additionally, the Hero Indian Open is set to take place in March, further highlighting the growing prominence of golf in India.
