DP World India Championship returns with a record $4M prize, igniting excitement in Indian golf!

Excitement is brewing in the Indian golf scene as the DP World Tour announces the highly anticipated DP World India Championship, set to take place in October at the prestigious Delhi Golf Club. This marks a triumphant return for the tour to India after a long hiatus since 2016, with a staggering prize fund of $4 million, promising to attract top talent from around the globe. Following the Hero Indian Open in March, this will be the second DP World Tour event in India for 2025, part of a robust season featuring at least 42 tournaments across 26 countries and a total prize fund of $153 million outside the majors.

In addition to this thrilling announcement, the Clover Greens Golf Course and Resort recently celebrated its June Monthly Medal Golf Tournament 2025, honoring the winners and runners-up for their exceptional performances. Meanwhile, the Royal Springs Golf Course (RSGC) in Srinagar has kicked off its club golf tournaments as per the 2025 schedule, which commenced on June 19, further enriching the golfing landscape in the region.

On a broader note, the Surya Nepal Premier Golf Championship concluded with amateur Rahul Biswakarma clinching the title, finishing an impressive 14-under 274, outshining 37 professionals and 18 amateurs.
