Flagler College wins NCAA South Region title, while Scottie Scheffler sets a PGA Tour record at the CJ Cup.

Flagler College triumphed at the NCAA South Region women`s golf championship, held at the Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Georgia. The tournament spanned from May 5-7, 2025, with Flagler finishing with an impressive score of 290-293-288=871 (+7), securing the top position. Nova Southeastern followed closely in second place, scoring 292-292-294=878 (+14), while Anderson took third with a total of 304-295-289=888 (+24).

In a remarkable individual achievement, Scottie Scheffler made headlines by winning the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson, setting a new record for the lowest 72-hole score in PGA Tour history. This historic feat adds to Scheffler`s growing legacy in professional golf.
