Olivia Costello from Roscommon showcased her exceptional talent by dominating the Pinergy Woodbrook Scratch Cup with impressive rounds of 73, 73, and 71, finishing with a five-under total. Her performance secured a commanding five-shot victory over Jessica Ross from Clandeboye and Zoe McLean-Tattan from Romford. Maebh McLoughlin of County Sligo finished fourth at one-over, while Kate Lanigan rounded out the top five at seven-over.

In men`s golf, John Doyle of Fota Island achieved a significant milestone by securing fifth place on the Men’s Bridgestone Order of Merit after his victory at the Munster Men’s Championship. This achievement highlights his consistent performance on the course.

In collegiate golf, Áine Donegan from Lahinch played a pivotal role in helping LSU secure third place at the NCAA Columbus Regional, finishing tied for 17th individually. Meanwhile, Beth Coulter`s Arizona State team led the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional at two-under, with Coulter tied for 23rd.

Looking ahead, the Flogas Irish Men’s Amateur Open Championship is set to begin Thursday at Seapoint Golf Links, featuring over 100 Irish competitors eager to make their mark.
