John Ross Galbraith`s 11-under 61 ties him for the lead at the Al Houara Trophy, showcasing thrilling golf action.

John Ross Galbraith has made headlines with a remarkable performance at the Clutch Pro Tour`s Al Houara Trophy in Tangier, Morocco. Tied for the lead at -13, Galbraith delivered a stunning second-round score of 11-under 61, featuring 11 birdies and no bogeys. This exceptional round places him alongside Wales` Luke Harries, who also shares the top spot.

Rob Brazill is three shots back at -10 after carding a second-round 66, which included seven birdies and one bogey, placing him in a tie for seventh. Other Irish contenders include Jack Madden at -6 and Paul McBride at -5, while James Sugrue and Daniel Mulligan sit at -3. Brandon St. John rounds out the Irish field at +1.

In addition to the excitement at the Al Houara Trophy, the Audi quattro Cup, the world`s largest amateur golf tournament, is set to kick off its Irish regional events on May 19th. Over 1,000 participants will compete across nine qualifiers, leading to the National Final at the K Club`s Palmer North Course, with winners advancing to the global final.
