Savannah Grewal is set to compete in the Chevron Championship, highlighting Canadian golfers` presence across multiple tours.

Canadian golfer Savannah Grewal is gearing up for her major return at the Chevron Championship, set to commence on April 24, 2025, at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This prestigious event marks the first women’s major of the year and features a competitive field, including eight amateurs making their debut. The tournament will be broadcasted with the opening two rounds on The Golf Channel and the weekend rounds on NBC, allowing fans to follow the action closely.

In addition to Grewal`s participation, fellow Canadians Sudarshan Yellamaraju and Matthew Anderson are competing at the Veritex Bank Championship at Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas. Yellamaraju currently ranks 12th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, while Anderson holds the 31st position. Other Canadian golfers, including Myles Creighton, Roger Sloan, Etienne Papineau, and Stuart Macdonald, are also in action, showcasing the depth of talent in Canadian golf.

Meanwhile, Toronto’s Drew Nesbitt is competing in the KIA Open on the PGA Tour Americas at Quito Tenis & Golf Club in Ecuador, where he is tied for 11th on the points list. The Canadian golf scene is further highlighted by the awarding of the Chick Evans Scholarship to two Victoria high school students, Connor Meir and Joe Harris, providing them with full four-year scholarships for golf caddies.
