India dominates 2025 Kho Kho World Cup, enters knockout stages.

The 2025 Kho Kho World Cup is heating up as the tournament progresses to its quarter-final and semi-final stages at the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi, India. The Indian men`s team has showcased exceptional performance, securing a place in the semi-finals after a commanding victory over Sri Lanka, winning 100-40. This win not only highlights their dominance but also sets the stage for their upcoming challenges.

Earlier in the tournament, the Indian men`s team demonstrated their prowess by defeating Bhutan with a score of 71-32, which guaranteed their advancement to the quarter-finals. The Indian women`s team also made headlines by outclassing Malaysia, winning by a significant margin of 80 points, and is now set to face Bangladesh in the quarter-finals.

The knockout stage of the tournament includes both quarter-finals and semi-finals, with the semi-finals scheduled for January 18, and the finals to follow on January 19, 2025. The tournament features a total of 20 men`s and 19 women`s national teams, divided into four groups for the initial round-robin phase. The competition has seen a total of 40 matches in the men`s tournament and 36 in the women`s tournament, all played under the fast-paced seven-a-side format of Ultimate Kho Kho.
