FASU Games Kick Off in Lagos, Nigeria.

The 11th edition of the Federation of African University Sports (FASU) games has officially begun in Lagos, featuring over 1,500 athletes from 43 African nations. Minister Ashraf Sobhy opened the event at the University of Lagos, co-hosted by UNILAG and Lagos State University. Running until September 29, the competition includes 17 sports, marking Nigeria's first hosting in 20 years. The event symbolizes African collaboration and unity among youth.
