NYG Asaba Medal Table: Team Delta With Early Lead

Team Delta State with an early lead on the Medal table after Day One activities at the 8 National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.

Delta who sit comfortably at the top is leading with 11 medals ( Six Gold, Three Silver and Two Bronze) with most of those medals coming from weightlifting.

Team Edo who the first Gold medal in the games are second with seven medals ( four Gold , two silver and a Bronze).

Ogbe Divine and Esther Godwin won the Gold and Silver medals in the 10km female cycling individual while Edo also won Gold and Bronze in Weightlifting.

Others who have won Medals are team Bayelsa with two Gold and a silver, Team Lagos with a Gold, a silver and two bronze, Team Oyo with a Gold and Silver and team Benue with three Bronze medals.
