Melbourne City continued their impressive run in the A-League Women, maintaining their unbeaten status with a solid 2-0 victory over Newcastle Jets. Laura Hughes and Holly McNamara found the net in the second half, showcasing City`s attacking prowess. Hughes started alongside Bryleeh Henry and Karly Roestbakken, while McNamara made a significant impact off the bench due to load management.

Adelaide United also shone brightly, extending their unbeaten streak to eight matches with a commanding 3-0 win against Perth Glory. Erin Healy was the star of the match, scoring twice, while Chelsie Dawber contributed with another goal.
