Pape Thiaw Appointed Senegal National Team Coach

The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has officially confirmed Pape Thiaw as the head coach of the national team, aiming to reclaim the African Championship title and qualify for the next World Cup. Thiaw, 43, had been serving as interim coach since October following the dismissal of Aliou Cissé, who led the Lions of Teranga to victory in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations but faced growing unpopularity.
