Bielsa says his authority was affected
After Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez criticized his teaching approach, Uruguay manager Marcelo Bielsa stated his authority was partly weakened. However, the Argentine emphasized that he was ready for the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifier against Peru with all due seriousness.
Earlier this month, Suarez, Uruguay's all-time top scorer who retired from international competition in September, claimed that Bielsa's coaching style had split the team due to his training methods and that some players were thinking about leaving.
