Brighton overcame a deficit to defeat Aston Villa 4-2 at Broadfield Stadium thanks to a goal from Nikita Parris, who made her entire Women's Super League debut.
Rachel Daly, the captain, gave Villa the lead in the first half for the second straight league game, but Parris countered her early goal 75 seconds later.
Pauline Bremer gave Brighton the lead at halftime when Parris, who was making her first WSL start since switching from Manchester United on the day of the deadline, turned provider.
