Miedema scores as Man City draw with Arsenal

In the Women's Super League opener between Manchester City and Arsenal, Vivianne Miedema scored on her return to Emirates Stadium as the two teams tied.

It was fortunate for Netherlands international Miedema that her strike deflected heavily off defender Laia Codina, allowing her to leave Arsenal when her contract expired this summer. However, she did not celebrate her goal.
