Sheeran acquires minority stake in Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town, a Premier League team, has seen a minority investment from singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.Sheeran, a longtime supporter of the Tractor Boys, has invested 1.4% of his money in the recently elevated side.
Sheeran will be allowed to use the executive box at their Portman Road house for an extended period of time, according to Ipswich, but he will not be joining the board because of his "passive and minority" stake.
