De Bruyne going nowhere, says Man City Guardiola

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has shot down rumors that Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is considering a move away from the team, citing he may go to Saudi Arabia.



Although De Bruyne, whose contract expires in 2025, stated last month that he is open to moving, Guardiola thinks the team won't see any significant changes before the transfer window closes on August 30.

“Kevin is not going,” Guardiola said at a press conference at North Carolina State University on Monday ahead of City’s opening U.S. tour match against Celtic.
