Mexico coach Lozano sacked after group-stage exit

Following Mexico's elimination from the Copa America group stage, Jaime Lozano was fired as head coach, the Football Federation (FMF) of Mexico said on Tuesday.




The 45-year-old Lozano turned down an invitation to stay on as an assistant coach through the 2026 World Cup before taking up head coach duties again until 2030, according to FMF.
