Manager Xavi of Barcelona has been fired, and Hansi Flick, a former manager of Bayern Munich, will take over.

Exactly one month after it was revealed that the 44-year-old would stay at the team, he was informed of the club's decision on Friday during a meeting with sports director Deco and club president Joan Laporta. He had a contract that ran until 2025.
