Australia striker Kerr ruled out of Olympics

The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris have officially been ruled out for Australia's Sam Kerr, who is recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) damage.

In January, the 30-year-old sustained an injury during a Chelsea training camp.

Kerr would not be back in time for the July Games, Matildas coach Tony Gustavsson announced, along with a squad for Australia's pre-Olympic friendlies.
