Tonali given suspended FA ban for betting breaches

Sandro Tonali, a midfielder for Newcastle, acknowledged breaking Football Association betting regulations and was subsequently handed a two-month suspended suspension.

If the 23-year-old Italian doesn't incur any more infractions before the end of the upcoming season, he won't serve out his suspension.

Due to offenses committed while he was in Italy, he is already serving a 10-month ban that expires in August.v
