USA & Mexico withdraw 2027 Women's World Cup bid

The combined effort by Mexico and the United States to host the Women's World Cup in 2027 has been dropped; instead, they will concentrate on submitting a bid for the competition in 2031.

It occurs on May 17, less than three weeks before the Fifa convention in Bangkok was to select the hosts.

Brazil and a combined effort from Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands are the two remaining bids.
