Referee Welch to be inducted into Hall of Fame

Referee Rebecca Welch will be inducted into the National Football Hall of Fame.

The 40-year-old became the first woman to referee a Premier League game when she officiated Burnley's 2-0 win over Fulham in December.

Welch, who began refereeing in 2010, was also the first woman to officiate a men's game in the Championship in January 2023.
