RFU discussed selling Twickenham

The Rugby Football Union considered selling Twickenham and purchasing a 50% stake in Wembley Stadium, according to a document obtained by the BBC.

The Twickenham Stadium Masterplan Programme (TSMP) stated that the RFU board examined the concept in March of last year, but no official contact was made to the Football Association (FA).
