Dorival Jr leaves Sao Paulo to take job

Dorival Jr. will now lead the Brazilian national team after resigning from his position as coach of Sao Paulo.

Although Sao Paulo announced his departure on X, the previous Twitter platform, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has not yet verified his appointment.


"It's a dream come true for me personally," the 61-year-old stated.

Fernando Diniz, Brazil's temporary coach, was fired on Friday.
