Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) showcased their dominance in Ligue 1 with a convincing 3-1 victory over Lille OSC at the Parc des Princes on March 1, 2025. This win extends PSG`s lead at the top of the table to an impressive 16 points, accumulating 62 points from 24 matches.

Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring early in the 12th minute with a clinical finish, setting the tone for the match. Marco Verratti followed up with a stunning long-range strike in the 37th minute, further solidifying PSG`s control. Although Lille`s Jonathan David managed to pull one back just before halftime, PSG`s relentless pressure continued into the second half. Neymar sealed the victory with a penalty in the 78th minute after Mbappé was fouled in the box.

Mbappé was the standout performer, contributing a goal and an assist, while also completing seven successful dribbles. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made five crucial saves, ensuring PSG maintained their lead.
