Reds fans awarded damages by Uefa

Uefa has awarded compensation to a group of Liverpool fans who claimed they were wounded or suffered psychological damage during the turbulent circumstances during the 2022 Champions League Final.

Uefa was judged to have "primary responsibility" for what nearly resulted in a "mass fatality catastrophe" in Paris.

Fans were confined and bombarded with tear gas outside the Stade de France as kickoff was postponed by 36 minutes.
