The 2025 DGPT season begins with the All-Star Challenge, featuring mixed doubles and new Innova disc releases.

The 2025 Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) season launches this weekend with the highly anticipated All-Star Challenge at Brooksville, Florida. This exciting event features a mixed doubles showdown on Thursday, February 27, marking the start of the 10th season of competitive disc golf. Players will showcase their skills at Brooksville`s Disc Golf Complex, setting the stage for an exhilarating season ahead.

In addition to the season opener, Innova has unveiled its first product releases for 2025, including the new Champion and I-Dye Gorgon discs. The Gorgon is touted for its ability to deliver "sneaky distance on controlled lines," making it a must-have for serious players. Innova is also gearing up for the launch of their Team Champion Series discs, which will be available through a coordinated Universal Tour Series release.

On the competitive front, several flex start events are scheduled, including the Kudzu Cove Flex Start and the Dynamic Discs Flex Start Friday at Greenbelt in Carrollton, Texas. For casual enthusiasts, an indoor disc golf putting league will take place in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, providing a perfect opportunity to hone skills during the winter months.
