Lee Valley velodrome to install barrier after 2022

The Lee Valley VeloPark velodrome will have a perspex fence installed around it in the wake of a terrifying incident that occurred there during the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Several riders were involved in a high-speed crash that sent England's Matt Walls flying over the track and into the crowd on his bike. Both spectators and other riders were hurt in the incident.
