Out of nearly 200,000 registered athletes from the 2024 Open, just 143,790 have come back for this year`s competition. Prominent athletes such as Scott Tetlow, Mallory O`Brien, and Kara Saunders have opted not to register for the 2025 Open, leaving fans curious about the competition landscape. The Open workouts feature a variety of challenging exercises, including burpees and dumbbell hang clean-to-overheads, designed to cater to different skill levels.

The average age of new participants stands at 34.7 years, with a strong representation from the United States, France, and the UK.
