Warner, 37, was punished for the ball-tampering incident in 2018 by being barred from leadership roles and suspended from cricket for a year.
Warner is now free to captain Australian domestic cricket teams, including the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash, after retiring from international cricket this year.
