Stokes back as captain in England’s squad

Ben Stokes will captain the team again as he continues his recuperation from a hamstring tear that prevented him from playing in the recent Test series victory against Sri Lanka. Spinners Rehan Ahmed and Jack Leach returned to the Test line-up, while uncapped players Brydon Carse and Jordan Cox were included. England announced their 17-man squad on Tuesday for their three-match Test tour of Pakistan, which is scheduled to take place in October.
