Phoenix post Hundred's lowest total in defeat

Birmingham Phoenix was soundly defeated by Northern Superchargers at Edgbaston, bowled out for the lowest score in the history of the Hundred.

The hosts were dismissed for 54 after needing to win by 116 runs, which was less than the previous record of 64 that the Oval Invincibles had against the Superchargers on Friday.

In the women's competition at the Hundred, the Phoenix's 86-ball innings also happened to be the third shortest in which a team was bowled out.
