Nepal's Lamichhane denied US visa for second time

Sandeep Lamichhane, a leg-spinner from Nepal, will not be able to compete in the T20 World Cup after his second attempt to obtain a visa to the US was denied.

The US Embassy in Kathmandu rejected the 23-year-old's initial application last week.

In December 2023, Lamichhane was convicted of raping an 18-year-old lady; however, that decision was recently overturned.
