Pakistan fast bowler's contract terminated

The Pakistan Cricket Board has terminated fast bowler Haris Rauf's central contract after he declined to participate in the Test tour of Australia.

Pakistan suffered a 3-0 defeat in the three-match series played between December and January.


The Test tour coincided with Australia's T20 franchise tournament, the Big Bash League (BBL), which Rauf later played in for the Melbourne Stars.
