Yorkshire defends process of finding new backers

Following allegations that Colin Graves' return would "undermine the progress" made in combating racism, Yorkshire has defended its method for locating new supporters.

Between 2012 and 2015, when Graves served as chair, the club was penalized for its repeated failure to address the systematic use of racial or derogatory language.


According to Sporting Equals, an NGO, he is in negotiations about a takeover that would "make a mockery" of people who have experienced racism.
