Afghanistan ban Mujeeb, Naveen and Farooqi

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (AC has sanctioned Mujeeb ur Rahman, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Fazalhaq Farooqi. This decision has the potential to have significant effects not only on Afghanistan Cricket but also on franchises worldwide. The ACB has also revoked the No Objection Certificate (NOC) that these three players had previously held, which allowed them to play in franchise leagues across the globe.

The ACB said in a statement released on Monday, December 25, that they had chosen to take action against the three players after they had indicated their intention to opt out of the yearly central contract.
